Holidays in England

Many people are put off by holidaying in the UK because of the weather. It can often be so unpredictable that you really do not know if you are going to be sat around in the caravan or apartment waiting for it to stop raining or sat outside lapping up the sun on the beach.

Unfortunately holidaying in the UK does come with its downfalls and although there are plenty of beautiful places to go and see, you need to plan ahead when it comes to packing.

When holidaying in England you need to accept that the weather can change quite quickly, so you may not have much of an idea as to what the weather is going to be like until the day before you go. Even then, the forecast can be wrong or change a few days later so it is best to pack layers of clothing. This will allow you to wrap up if its warm but take off cardi’s or hoody’s if it does start to warm up a bit. Our summers often seem to be slightly earlier now and later on in the year they tend to turn wet. Ideally if holidaying in England, expect and prepare for the worse weather. There is still plenty of fun to be had if the weather is bad as long as you have the appropriate clothing and footwear. So pack your wellies and brollies and head out for a fun day.
